Our ponies

Rosie is the sweetest looking chestnut pony and at 11.2hh the smallest on the yard. She has taken a shine to Bobby Socks and everyone thinks she is his girlfriend!

Bobby Socks
is a small bay Welsh pony with three white socks. He is 12.2hh and popular with the children. He is a very well behaved little pony who is a dream to ride. He enjoys playing gymkhana games and races.

Heather  is an adorable grey New Forest pony, 13.2hh, who particuarly enjoys going out on hacks.
Heather

Bramble is a beautiful cuddly bay Fell pony. She is 13.2hh. If you get to ride Bramble you are in for a comfortable ride. Her trotting is so smooth, it is easier to do sitting trot than rising!

Shuna is a very pretty 13.2hh Cream Dun Highland pony. She's a very willing pony with a lovely nature.

Buckthorn is a grey dun Highland Pony who is genuinely Scottish as he came originally from the Isle of Mull. He is 13.3hh.  Buckthorn is a good ‘all round’ reliable pony suitable for all members of the family.  He is enormously patient. He will stand perfectly still for as long as it takes to open a gate, mount a disabled rider or wait for all the traffic to go past before crossing a busy road.

Denby is a chestnut, New Forest type pony, 14.2hh. He is a lovely ride both in the school and out on hacks, but quite a character around the yard. One of his favourite tricks is untying his own lead rope!

Guinness is a dark bay, Dales Cross Shire horse, 15.2hh. He is a big softie with gorgeous brown eyes. Totally ‘bomb proof’- he is a comfortable ride with a fantastic trot.

Annie is the largest of our horses – a white grey Clydesdale cross, standing at 16.3hh.  Most people need to use the mounting block to get on her, but once aboard they find they get panoramic views. Nobody need be put off by her large size, as she is a gentle giant!
